Basic Engineering package constitutes the core documents of any typical project and essentially includes PFD, mass & energy balances, P&ID's, control & operational philosophy, basic equipment sizes / specifications and conceptual equipment layout.

LTC with its extensive exposure to various technologies and unit operations typical for refinery process units and fertilizers are in a position to develop such packages independently for most of the open-art units. It is equipped with the latest software for performing process engineering calculations and process optimization. Simulation, Modeling and CAD are performed by utilizing the state-of-art ZYQAD, INTERGRAPH, and CAD workstations.

LTC is specialized in carrying out detailed activities such as network analysis for heat exchangers (using Pinch Technology) , cooling water & flare systems, pressure surge analysis etc.
